Proposed changes announced today by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in the U.S. to auditing standards related to internal controls over financial reporting, Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, closely align with guidance to CEOs and Directors made earlier this year by Canada’s Quebec government tables Bill 64 which will amend Quebec’s practice of public accounting
