Resources for Women Entrepreneurs

Canada Business – Nova Scotia’s (CB-NS) Women in Business Info-Guide is a great starting point for programs and services for women entrepreneurs.

The Centre for Women in Business at Mount Saint University assists entrepreneurs by providing support, resources, training, and information needed to grow a business.

The Women in Business Initiative can help you access business advice, information, and support. Women in Business counsellors are available throughout Nova Scotia.

Status of Women Canada is the federal government's department to promote gender equality and the full participation of women in the economic, social, cultural and political life of the country. Status of Women Canada also offers funding and technical assistance through its Women’s Program.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade created a Web site designed to meet the special assistance and information needs of women entrepreneurs leading small and medium-sized businesses.
