To Whom Does This Apply?

A person or company that purchases or collects fish for resale or processing.

Summary

This document is based on information from the Government of New Brunswick (Services) Web site, February 2008.

The Department of Health issues Fish Buyer Licences.

Any individual or company intending to purchase or collect fish in New Brunswick for resale or for processing must be in possession of a licence issued annually for a set fee (currently $10.00), in accordance with the Fish Inspection Act and its General Regulation.
