The Marine Environmental Data Service (MEDS) of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (F&O) disseminate data, data products, and services to the marine community.

Marine community.
Summary
MEDS provides a wide range of marine environmental data through five classes of service:
- support to operations and regulatory services;
- support to marine science research;
- support to the marine engineering community;
- support to agencies issuing forecasts and warnings; and
- operation of the Canadian portion of the international ocean data exchange system.
