   Who Knew? In 1907, The District Courts Act was passed and created eight judicial districts in Cannington, Moosomin, Yorkton, Regina, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Prince Albert and, Battleford. Branches, Boards and Commissions Public Prosecutions Division300-1874 Scarth Street The Public Prosecutions Division acts independently on behalf of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General to represent the interests of the general public in the criminal justice system. The Division administers justice in the province by providing legal advice, assessing criminal investigations and prosecuting where the interest of justice requires.
