The Social Work Unit provides the following services for people dealing with family law matters:
  • custody and access assessments for use by the Court; and
  • supervised access/exchange services.

The Social Work Unit does not provide lawyers or legal services. It is recommended that everyone involved in a family law matter consult with a lawyer, either privately or through Legal Aid. For assistance in selecting or contacting a private family lawyer, consult the Law Society of Saskatchewan's referral service.
