Who Knew?
In 1908, the Attorney Generals department adopted a policy for private civil rights to "lease the matter of giving legal advice to the various solicitors of the province."

Registration Fee: $425.00 + GST

Designed for those who have completed the "Resolving Conflict Constructively" workshop.

This three day workshop is intended for those who wish to enhance their conflict resolution skills for situations where they are expected to lead a process and also to present their own interests. The course will be of particular interest to managers, supervisors and other s with human resource and personnel responsibilities in the workplace. It will also be of assistance to representatives of regulatory, licensing and planning agencies who deal with competing private and public interests. The workshop provides opportunities to practise skills in role play scenarios and will include small and large group discussions in the following areas:

  • A review of conflict theory, interests and communication skills;
  • How to lead processes using a constructive model for conflict resolution and overcoming resistance to it;
  • Leading processes in a fair manner while at the same time advancing your own needs and interests;
  • Determining when to ask for assistance from a neutral third party.
