Adjudicators/Case Managers are the primary contact for injured workers, physicians, and employers. They demonstrate high levels of problem solving and decision-making skills, and have the ability to analyze and deal with all aspects of claims/case management. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education and related work experience.

Central Administration Employees are responsible for the overall management of corporate records including file access, WCB claim file retention and mailroom, ensuring compliance with policy, contractual and legislated requirements. The department also coordinates and implements solutions with respect to space planning, renovations, moving, furniture and fixtures, in accordance with user needs and appropriate business practices. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education and related work experience.

Communications Professionals provide public relations expertise and technical skills for the organization. They perform the public relations function by using a variety of professional tools and skills including writing, editing, layout and design, project management, strategic planning, organizational and communications consulting. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education and related work experience.

Employer Services Professionals contribute to the overall success of the WCB by developing and fostering positive relationships with Manitoba employers. They develop comprehensive plans and strategic initiatives, provide audit and insurance services to covered employers and provide innovative and effective services to employer accounts. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education and related work experience.

Finance Professionals are responsible for financial statement information, statistical analysis and working as part of a team with members of other departments to implement new initiatives. Individuals in finance will thrive in a busy environment, work with reporting tools and be confident in providing decision-making information to management. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education and related work experience.

Human Resources Professionals provide advice and consultation to management and staff on human resource matters in the areas of recruitment, labour relations, compensation, benefits, training, organizational development and performance management. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education and related work experience. Preference will be given to Certified Human Resource Professionals.

Information Technology Professionals are responsible for developing and maintaining a state-of-the art computer network infrastructure, allowing the WCB to develop innovative client-server and web-based solutions using leading software development tools. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education and related work experience. Preference will be given to candidates with project management skills.

Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants assist injured workers with their return to work. VRC's provide adjustment and career counseling, create vocational rehabilitation plans, conduct work-site task assessments, facilitate sponsorship in a remaining partnership with an employer, and formal academic retraining to enhance a worker's existing knowledge and skills. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education and related work experience.

Summer Jobs
The WCB has a summer relief program for students returning to university in the fall. Summer students have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, experience, and skills for future career paths at the WCB.

Casual
Casual employees are employed in a variety of positions to work on an irregular and as needed basis.

Term
Employment is also available for term positions of up to one year in many departments.

These positions are often entry-level clerical opportunities and require post secondary education and six months of related experience.
