Managers
The CSSB administers the Act and has ultimate responsibility for the prudent investment of the Fund. They are responsible for all aspects of the investment of the Fund, including developing and maintaining an investment policy, establishing and maintaining an investment manager structure, and monitoring investment results.
The CSSB and its Investment Committee oversee 11 internal portfolio managers and research analysts as well as six external investment management teams. Internally managed investments represent more than 80% of total Fund assets and include:

The external Canadian Equity mandate is directed towards SmallCap Growth stocks, a complimentary diversification to the internal management team’s value-oriented approach. The EAFE mandates and Emerging Markets mandates are diversified amongst two different managers each respectively.
