Group Use Areas
Hecla
Hecla / Grindstone Provincial Park

You don't need to worry about the little things when you are supposed to be having fun! That's why each site provides you with basic outdoor necessities like fire-pits, picnic tables, and toilet facilities. Some sites even offer picnic shelters and group fire rings.

So if you need a group use site for your family reunion, wedding or company barbeque, contact a reservation agent to find out which provincial park will suit your needs. If you are planning any special activities other than a picnic or overnight camping a Special Events Permit may be required. Please contact the local district office for further information.

In order to ensure that these areas remain available for groups, there are minimum size requirements. Group facilities are available for the day at no charge, while fees are assessed for overnight camping. A nominal reservation fee applies to each booking.

Manitoba Parks continues to help school and youth groups in their pursuit of enriching the experiences of children in our province. Free camping is provided to qualified groups, at all provincial group use areas. By phoning the Parks Reservation Service, you can ensure that you get the site you want, when you want it. This peace of mind is provided for the price of the reservation fee.

For more information about reserving any group use sites, please call our Parks Reservation Service, or visit the group use reservation section in this website.
