Beaches in Provincial Parks
Manitoba has an abundance of beautiful beaches. Spend some time at any, or all, of these popular spots and savour a sunny summer tradition.
Grand Beach is considered one of the best in North America. This beach offers kilometres of inviting, warm sand beaches with dunes 12 metres high. Days are filled with leisurely swims, strolls along the boardwalk, beach volleyball and sand castle creations.
At St. Ambroise Beach, shallow waters and sandbars serve as a natural playground for families. Comb the shores, and listen to the songs of the summer wildlife such as catbirds, American goldfinches and yellow-headed blackbirds.
Families are rediscovering Winnipeg Beach as a terrific place to celebrate summer. Stroll the boardwalk, see the sights and enjoy the cool breeze that sends windsurfers skimming across the lake.
Clearwater Lake has water so clear, you can see the bottom of the lake. Stroll down the long, white beaches, swim in the cool clear water or play a game of volleyball on Sunset Beach.

Water activities abound at Watchorn Bay on the beautiful sandy shores of Lake Manitoba. Swimming, boating, canoeing and fishing are among the choices for a hot summer day.
Take a leisurely stroll along the long beach at Moose Lake or go in for a swim. Moose Lake also offers scenic lakeside camping for an outdoor family weekend.
Take care of yourself and others while enjoying your day at the beach.
