Provincial Parks
Any trip to Manitoba's provincial parks can be a highlight of your spring,
summer or fall but the following weekends offer a variety of special events.

June 7 - 8, 2008 - Family Fishing
Weekend
Bring the family out for a weekend of fishing. Fishing
licences are not required on this weekend. Refer to the Manitoba
Fishing Guide for more details. *Park entry is complimentary on this
weekend.
July 1, 2008 - Canada Day Check parks offices and bulletin boards for special Canada
Day programs or celebrations.
Canada's greatest folk and roots music festival takes place
at Birds Hill Provincial Park.
Celebrations in Manitoba's parks offer a wide variety of
family-oriented activities including: Honorary Natural Resource Officer and
interpretive events. *Park entry is complimentary on this weekend.
*Take advantage of another complimentary park entry on this
weekend.
*Park entry is free beginning Friday through to Sunday at midnight
(until Monday night on the Labour Day Weekend) All other times a Park Vehicle Permit is required.
