Manitoba's Ecological Reserves Program
A program dedicated to protecting lands that contain many examples of the unique biological diversity found all over Manitoba.
Heritage Rivers Program
Canada's national river conservation program. It promotes, conserves and
enhances Canada's river heritage, and ensures that Canada's leading rivers are
managed in a sustainable manner. Manitoba is home to
four of these majestic Rivers.
Park Management Plans A management plan ensures that the main purposes of a park are considered when land use decisions are made. It provides details on what land uses are appropriate and assures that new activities or developments are compatible with the long-term management of the park.
Public Consultations The purpose of a public review is to obtain information and insight regarding values and uses of provincial lands, including Heritage Rivers and Park Reserves.
