Dear Manitobans: 

I am pleased to announce that the 2007 Manitoba Attorney General Safer Communities Awards will be held this year on May 24th, 2007.

We wish to recognize those individuals, community groups and organizations that have made significant contributions to developing, implementing, promoting and enhancing community crime prevention programs and initiatives throughout the Province.  Your nomination will provide recognition to the individual, group, or organization from your community who has made an outstanding contribution in this area, as well as the opportunity to receive an award for their efforts.

Please inform your community of the awards, and distribute the enclosed nomination form to interested organizations, community groups and individuals.  If you require additional copies of the nomination package, please feel free to make as many copies as necessary.

Completed nominations must be returned no later than March 31st, 2007 to:
