2008 SPRING WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

Pursuant to Section 36 of the Highway Act, the Minister of Transportation imposes Weight Restrictions on motor vehicles effective Sunday at midnight, March 9, 2008 for Southern New Brunswick, and the following Sunday at midnight, March 16, 2008 for Northern New Brunswick. Weight restrictions are to be removed midnight, May 18, 2008 for Southern New Brunswick and midnight, May 25, 2008, for Northern New Brunswick. These dates are dependent upon weather conditions and are therefore subject to change.

Should weather conditions warrant, District Engineers are authorized to close roads to trucks or to impose weight restrictions on highways or portions of highways at any time in order to protect the highway system.
