| The following provides procedures for obtaining Official Tender Documents and/or Plans from the Department of Transportation under the Automatic Mailing System for the fiscal year 2007-2008 (April 1, 2007 - March 31, 2008). Please note that in order to bid on a Department of Transportation tender, official tender documents must be obtained from the Department of Transportation's Financial and Administrative Services Branch. To ensure that your firm is on the Automatic Mailing List, please forward, as soon as possible, a cheque for the category(ies) of your choice to the address below. |

| All Contractors, Fabricators, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, ETC. | |
| Description: | |
| Structures: Each firm shall submit a cheque payable to the Minister of Finance, in the amount of $824.90. The cheque will be valid for the fiscal year 2007-2008 and no refund of money will be made. No plans or tender documents need to be returned to the Department. This system entitles a firm to one complete set of plans and tender documents for each contract called during the year. Additional sets of plans and tender documents will be available at a cost of $163.85 per set and no money will be refunded. Grading (Includes storm drainage and curb and gutter contracts): Each firm shall submit a cheque, made payable to the Minister of Finance in the amount of $824.90. Paving, Signing and Lighting: As a rule, paving contracts include the necessary signing and lighting unless stated otherwise. Each firm shall submit a cheque made payable to the Minister of Finance in the amount of $412.45. Gravel Crushing and Screening: No plans will be applicable to this type of contract. Each firm shall submit a cheque, made payable to the Minister of Finance in the amount of $152.55. |
