What do we know about the religious diversity landscape in Canada and what is our role as a Department?

This full-day event featured three panels which explored key issues related to religion and faith in Canada. Many joined the debate of the myths and realities surrounding the acceptance of faith practices in Canadian civic life and national institutions.

Speakers included academic researchers, community discussants and senior departmental officials.

Departmental partners included: Multiculturalism and Human Rights; International Affairs, Strategic Policy, Planning and Research, the Canadian Cultural Observatory, and the Knowledge Centre.
