Please ensure you have the following information ready:
- Vehicle registration renewal form OR current registration
- Valid pink liability Insurance card (if required)
- Visa, MasterCard or American Express
Note:
- Do not renew online if your address has changed. (options)
- For lawful operation on the highway, the New Brunswick Motor Vehicle Act requires not only that a vehicle be registered on the motor vehicle system but that the vehicle display a valid licence plate, which includes a valid registration sticker affixed to the licence plate.
- As part of the verification process, your insurance information may be confirmed with your insurance agent.
The Registrar of Motor Vehicles encourages you to renew your vehicle registration in plenty of time prior to expiry. It is the responsibility of the plate holder to ensure validation stickers are renewed and affixed to their plates by the plate expiry date, for the vehicle to be used on the highway.
If you have an expired registration or a registration that is due to expire in the next 5 working days, you may wish to visit your local Service New Brunswick office to avoid any delay in the legal operation of your vehicle.
