Major Research Partnerships

In the spring of 2004, Memorial Universityof Newfoundland established the office of Major Research Partnerships.

The Director, Major Research Partnerships reports to the Vice President (Research) and is responsible for financial and administrative support for Memorial's existing major, AIF-funded research projects, and for assisting in the development of new major projects.

Currently, the Director has overall responsibility for the PanAtlantic Petroleum Systems Consortium (PPSC), the Inco Innovation Centre and the Centre for Marine Compressed Natural Gas, a non-profit corporation that Memorial has fostered.
