Mandate
The Faculty of Arts Computing Centre is a facility dedicated to helping faculty members and graduate students working in the Humanities and Social Sciences with their computing needs. Our mandate limits us to working with departments and individuals within the Faculty of Arts.
Facility
The centre has available for use by faculty and graduate students, two PC's and one MAC's. These machines contain a wide range of software - contact us to inquire about available applications. Laser printing and scanning services are provided. The centre also houses the Faculty of Arts web server.
Location
We are located in SN2049a, adjacent to the Writing Centre. If it is more convenient for you, we would be happy to visit your office for technical support or consultation.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm-4:00 pm. Closed for lunch from 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm.
Services
We provide a broad range of services including: website & web application development, database development, programming (Ruby, Java, php), IT consultation for upcoming projects, scanning and printing services and technical support for both the PC and MAC platforms.
