Information on MCP

The Provincial Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has announced that they will extend MCP coverage to international students. Read here to determine if you are eligible and how to apply. Please note that as of now, students cannot cancel the Student Guard Foreign Health insurance for the Spring and Fall semesters. Remember that all students at MUN, Canadian or international, are required to pay for supplemental insurance. Our office in collaboration with MUNSU, the GSU, and others, have begun exploring options for supplemental insurance for Foreign students that have Provincial coverage, in preparation for January 2008. We will keep you updated as we have more information.
