Once you’ve got your humanities degree in hand, you can be sure you’ll be well-prepared to hit the job market. As a humanities grad you’ll be versatile and will be able to take on just about anything. You could go on to graduate studies or other professional programs, or perhaps work in areas such as journalism, law and social science fields, just to name a few.
In fact, the Social Sciences and Research Council of Canada says “humanities and social-science graduates land good jobs, earn more and suffer less unemployment than those with only technical or vocational training” and that a background in liberal arts provides “long-term earning power.” Sounds like a plan!
