Today, New Democrats remember the seventh anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

My thoughts are with the thousands of families, friends and colleagues of the victims of this senseless violence. Twenty four Canadians lost their lives in this terrorist attack. The events of that day will forever be ingrained in my memory and the memories of every Canadian. But more importantly, the memories of those lost will forever live on with those who knew them well.
