Greens are fiscally conservative
One thing I really like about the Green Party is that we have put forward socially progressive policies but at the same time are fiscally conservative.
Conservatives fake Elizabeth (kinda funny)
I just learned that the Conservatives had a satirical Facebook site called Dionbook. It's down now, but you can see the cached version:
Reasons Against Strategic Voting
At some point in this election, the Liberals or NDP will try to get you to "strategically" vote for them to keep bad old Stephen Harper out of office.
Don't fall for it.
Layton weaseling.
No matter how much Layton tries to squirm and stay on message in attacking Harper, the reporter doesn't let him off the hook about his stance on Elizabeth in the debates.

Former Prime Minister Joe Clark in a landmark opinion peice in today's Globe and Mail calls for Elizabeth May's inclusion in the televised leaders debates.
New Criteria to enter debate?
Thank you so much for working so hard on behalf of the Green Party, Elizabeth, and for continuing the “fight” with dignity, despite the decision on the debate.

Harper. Layton afraid of a Woman
If Stephen Harper's new 'I'm a good dad' ads are directed at women voters, then his fear of facing Elizabeth May should go down really well. 'Old Boys Club' should read 'Old Buzzards'.
Power Corrupts?
It is no surprise to me that Elizabeth May and the Green Party have not been allowed in the televised debates.

Red-Green solution is duct tape?
Since the Conservatives are of the opinion that the liberals and the Greens are one party, Red-Green, we should consider doctoring our posters to show the five leaders with Ms May having duct tape ove
Get these great comments out to the media
There have been some great postings on Elizabeth's exclusion from the debate. I urge everyone to also send these comments in to newspapers as letter-to-editor, where they will be more widely read.
Elizabeth should challenge Stephen Harper one-on-one
I like every other Green Party supporter (and likely many other Canadians) was stunned, disappointed, disgusted about Elizabeth being shut out again.
Without Precedent
Crossposted from christindal.ca
The criteria for inclusion in the leaders' debate is completely arbitrary. The system to decide who gets equal treatment has never been clear, transparent, accountable, or democratic. And yet, the Green Party played along and met all of the criteria as ever defined by a member of the broadcast consortium. Today we were excluded from the debate regardless. This is a shameful and irrational decision. It is an insult to democracy. And it is without precedent.

Strong Leaders?
Harper and Layton have put out ads talking about themselves as "strong leaders". How strong could they be to duck out of 4 hours of debate with Elizabeth May?

Who's afraid of Elizabeth May? Steve is! Steve is! Steve is!
Stephen Harper provided the flimsiest argument to exclude Elizabeth May from the leaders debate. His arguments hide his fear of Elizabeth May.
Is this leadership?
Bring it on! (the Election that is)
Wow!
Just saw Elizabeth on CBC speaking passionately about what this election means, to us as Canadians and to this planet.

Harper testifies that he personally authorized Cadman offer
I just had to post a blog entry about this Globe and Mail article. It boggles the mind to imagine that such an approach would not be considered an attempt to influence.
