Liberal Leader Stéphane Dion was also in Ontario, speaking at a rally in Brampton. Former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien was on hand to introduce Dion.

NDP Leader Jack Layton was on the campaign trail in Gatineau, Quebec.

Bloc Québécois Leader Gilles Duceppe was campaigning in Montreal.
