iGoogle: Gadgets not made by Google

Print
iGoogle allows third-party providers to create new gadgets that you can add to your page. This is part of our effort to get you immediate, at-a-glance access to the information you want from across the web.

Some of this content is delivered via feeds (such as RSS and Atom) that third-parties provide, and this content is the same for everyone who receives it. Other content is more tailored to you and requires information, such as your city name or zodiac sign, so that you can receive things like local weather and horoscopes.

Google does not share any information about you to these third-party providers. They can only get that information when you enter it directly in their gadgets. We alert you when you add a third-party section so that you know the information you're providing there is being sent to that third-party provider.
