WINTERFEST FUN: Kirk Poirier takes part in ‘Trow da Boot Bye,’ a Winterfest tradition where participants throw a rubber boot in hopes of getting it into a large metal garbage bin. Although the weekend’s weather was unpredictable, many people came to Rock Ridge Recreation Park on Saturday to take part in some winter fun.
