New Billing Frequency in 2009 For Metered Water & Sewer Customers
Metered Utility customers (water and sewer) can expect to see a change in billing frequency beginning in 2009. All customers will begin receiving notices on a quarterly (every 3 months) basis. For some customers this may result in receiving their first 2009 bill sooner than usual, while others may receive their notices later than usual. What’s the catch?
If by chance your property fronts a street drainage basin, also known as a catch basin, do your part and ensure it doesn’t get plugged by soggy leaves, sands and silts or strewn garbage this fall or winter. Overland flooding can be averted when residents keep an eye on their street’s catch basins and maintain them. Don’t forget to bag your leaves or place them in a yard can instead of raking them onto the street or into the gutter.
