Globe and Mail Update

Following up on last week's live webinar on technology and business (click here to view), Steve Hnatiuk, one of the top Canadian minds in venture capital for emerging tech companies today, will address the trends shaping new technology growth opportunities and the future of venture capital investment.

The discussion will look beyond the obvious into the areas that entrepreneurs need to understand in order to finance the growth of a technology business opportunity in today’s environment. The discussion will delve into what kind of deals are getting done, what are the technology trends, platforms and market forces you should not only be aware of but should be harnessing to gain a competitive edge. Steve will take questions on what entrepreneurs need to do in order to make their opportunity attractive in a capital-constrained venture financing environment, who is doing deals in Canada, and what technology market trends are of greatest interest to customers and investors.
