Before it reopened in 2005, Toronto's historic Gladstone Hotel sought out Canadian artists to design each of its 37 revamped guestrooms. The end result? No room is like the next, with decor ranging from toile wallpaper depicting the hotel's legendary karaoke parties in one to lavish Chinese-inspired walls and seating in another.
