Emma-Joseph Cherbin, 3 outside her tent in Pinchinat Soccer Feild Tent city in Jacmel, Haiti. The three year olds leg was severly broken in the earthquake and has been in a a cast ever since. Cherbin says it has been very difficult to care for her child in the camps living conditions and her injury.

Melbourne Zoo's new Asian elephant - named Baby for the time being - keeps a close eye on her mother's foot after going on display to the public for the first time on February 10, 2010. Baby is only the second elephant born in Australia and the first one born from successful artificial insemination, and after a 22-month pregnancy she arrived on January 16, 2010.
