Historical Note:

The Graham Spry Theatre was established in honour of one of Canada's most faithful and influential advocates of public broadcasting. Graham Spry and Alan Plaunt, two young enthusiastic lobbyists, co-founded the Radio League of Canada. Together they were the driving force leading to the establishment of a national public broadcaster in 1932 by the Canadian Parliament.
