3. FMD-free status currently suspended due to an outbreak that began on April 20, 2010.

4. These departments have been recognized by CFIA as free of FMD: Apurimac, Arequipa, Avachucho, Cusco, Huancavelica, Ica, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Puno, Tacna, Amazonas, Huanuco, Junin, Loreto, Pasco, San Martin and Ucayali.
