Notice to those transporting horses into Canada at the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge (Niagara)

With the completion of the new facility at the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge, the Canada Border Services Agency will require ALL horses crossing into Canada at this entry point to be routed through the commercial (truck) lanes, regardless of whether the transporter or shipment is commercial or personal. As of April 1, 2011, ALL horses will be processed through the commercial truck lane ONLY at Queenston-Lewiston. There are no changes being made to the entry requirements for commercial or personal importations of horses into Canada. This is only a change in routing.
