Email Notification Services: Food Recalls and Allergy Alerts

The following email notification services are available to the public. You can subscribe to as many notification services as you want but make sure at least one service is selected before you submit this form.

You will have to reply to a confirmation message for each subscribed service before your account is activated. A request for confirmation will be sent to the account you enter below. All personal information submitted is protected by the Privacy Act.

 

 

 

Email notifications for health hazard alerts cover food recalls that pose a significant risk to consumers, mainly Class I and some Class II recalls. Allergy alert notifications cover all classes of allergy recalls. Information on all recalls, including those where an email notification is not issued, can be found on the Food Recall Reports page.

Please notify me about high-risk health hazard alerts only.

Please notify me about high-risk health hazard alerts, as well as the allergy alerts that I have selected below:

  • Eggs
  • Fish and seafood
  • Milk
  • Nuts and peanuts
  • Sesame
  • Soy
  • Sulphites
  • Wheat / Gluten
  • Other allergens (eg. coconut, mustard)

If you sign up for all recall subjects, you may receive up to 225 emails a year.
