Additional notes regarding modifications to December 2004 list

1. Chinese Canned Mushroom Protocol is no longer in force and is replaced by the Chinese Canned Vegetable Protocol. More information can be found at the Processed Products Program web page under Export/Import on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Web site.
2. An approved establishment newly marketed in Canada - The 10 first shipments should be inspected to establish it's category. Results of the inspections can be obtained from the importers or the Canadian Food Inspection Agency monitoring program and the results submitted to Ottawa for accountability.
3. All Visual Inspection Protocol inspection results from both the importers and Canadian Food Inspection Agency staff are to be relayed to John Wood for category determination.
4. Note to Importers: Chinese establishment code must be clearly identified on the Import Declaration Form (CFIA/ACIA 4560) accompanying shipments of Chinese canned mushrooms.
