The Calgary Stampede is a volunteer-supported, not-for-profit community organization that preserves and promotes western heritage and values. With a core staff of 1,200 employees, the Stampede runs a variety of community programs and hosts more than 1,000 events every year. Another 3,500 employees are hired for the 10-day Stampede.

10-Day Stampede Employment

We will be holding an open house for drop-in interviews at the People Centre on Saturday, June 30th (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.), as well as on Tuesday, July 3rd to Wednesday, July 11th (9 a.m. – 7 p.m.). The positions currently available require candidate’s to be over 18 years of age. Once positions are filled, qualified candidates will be placed on our waiting list as positions become available during the first few days of Stampede. The People Centre is located at 2402 2A Street SE, across from the Erlton Stampede Train Station.  Please note that there is no parking available on site.

Candidates under the age of 18 are welcome to drop off their resume for our waitlist however no interviews will be held at this time.
