This section contains both current and archived news releases with associated backgrounders and other factsheets that Health Canada has released regarding timely health issues of interest to Canadians and the media.

News releases are divided into two sections. Current News Releases lists news releases from the current year, and Past News Releases lists news releases from the two previous years. To obtain a news release that is more than two years old, contact info@hc-sc.gc.ca.

Our Media News Service is an effective way for journalists to keep up-to-date on breaking Health Canada news.
