The Citadelle of Québec

The Residence of the Governor General at the Citadelle of Québec
To increase awareness of the role of the governor general of Canada and provide students with a school outing in the beautiful City of Québec, the Residence of the Governor General at the Citadelle offers a program that is sure to please young visitors.

On His Excellency’s Secret Service (School Program)
Three educational, interactive and fun missions are available, according to grade level. The suggested activities were designed to compliment lessons students learn in class, in accordance with various provincial curricula.

New France (PDF) Students grades 3 and 4
Responsible Government (PDF) Students grades 5 and 6
Democracy (PDF) Students in grades 7 and 8 / Secondary I and II

Each program lasts approximately one hour and is offered free of charge. Groups must make reservations in advance.

The Citadelle is a working residence and active military base. Official events may require unforeseen changes to your visit.
