Our Chair
Mr. Jean-Guy Soulière was initially appointed as a member and the Chairperson of the National Seniors Council in 2007 and reappointed for a second term in March 2010. Mr. Soulière was the first Chair of the National Seniors Council. Mr. Soulière’s second and final term ended on March 4, 2013.
After a successful career with the federal public service, Jean-Guy Soulière was the Executive Director of the Federal Superannuates National Association (FSNA). He holds a degree from the University of Ottawa and is fluently bilingual.
He is the former Chair and Spokesperson for the Congress of National Seniors' Organizations and is a member of the Public Service Pension Advisory Committee.
