Canada’s agriculture industry plays a vital role in keeping our economy strong. That’s why Canada’s Economic Action Plan is investing $3 billion in the agriculture and agri-food sectors through the Growing Forward 2 (GF2) initiative.
GF2 is a five-year agreement among federal-provincial-territorial governments. It is made up of three programs: AgriInnovation, AgriMarketing and AgriCompetitiveness. Together, they aim to drive innovation, improve competitiveness in domestic and international markets, and help the industry adapt to emerging global and domestic opportunities. They also aim to build up the industry’s business and entrepreneurial capacity.
Whether you are just starting out, or have been in business a long time, GF2 offers practical and flexible programs that can help you reach your goals and prosper in the agricultural industry.
