NEW – The Species at Risk Act (SARA) component of the e-permitting system is now available. It contains the permit application form that you can fill-in on-line for projects affecting species found in SARA. This component is the first of the e-permitting project initiative which began last year to develop an infrastructure to allow individuals to apply on-line for wildlife-related permits issued by Environment Canada. Any comments regarding this new e-permitting system can be directed to sarapermithelp@ec.gc.ca.
The following sections provide information relating to SARA instruments and the implementation of the Act.
