Operations & Training

Through collective and individual training exercises, the Canadian Army ensures its soldiers are always ready for operations at home and abroad.

Operations

The Army defends the interest of Canadians, contributes to international peace and stability and deploys to support partners and allies around the world.

This is accomplished through domestic and international operations which are carried out by the Canadian Joint Operations Command.

Exercises and Training

The Canadian Army generates well-trained and well-led soldiers that can meet today’s operational challenges.

Soldiers develop their skills during exercises and at a number of training centres and schools located across the country.

The Canadian Army Ethics Programme (CAEP) includes all professional development training which supports the Army ethos.
