Economic/Environmental Scan (E-scan)
The following E-scan publications provide an analysis of socio-economic trends in Canadian provinces and territories. These reports aim to increase the knowledge of demographic, economic, and labour market issues that affect both the province/territory and the economic areas that compose it. The analysis focuses on current conditions and short-term and medium-term trends.
The E-scan document also helps Service Canada economists to determine sectorial and occupational outlooks. To that end, these analyses will also be of interest to people, companies, and groups that wish to become informed about the forecasting stream of the Canadian economy and labour market.
