Register a Memorial

Record/Register a Memorial – The Search Continues...

Do you know of any military memorials which are not yet contained in our records?

Do you know the story behind a Canadian military memorial? If yes, please consider completing the Registration Form below which follows this message. We need to know what you know in order to continue adding the locations and histories of memorials to our records.

By completing the following section, and the questions contained there-in, you will not only help us celebrate the military heritage of Canada, but you will also assist us in the preservation of the memorials themselves. Information on all memorials, monuments, cairns, plaques, fountains and dedicated stained glass windows is welcome no matter what their condition.

With your help, the Department of National Defence's Directorate of History and Heritage (DHH) and the Organization of Military Museums of Canada (OMMC) hopes to continue the search for military memorials from across the country.

Please note that grave sites are significant tributes to our deceased military personnel. They have already been recorded by the Last Post Fund and therefore are not part of this Project.

If you have anything to offer to the National Inventory of Canadian Military Memorials Project, please send us the information by printing the Registration Form below.
