Below is a list of some items that the DND/CAF has recently donated to various organizations, as well as links to news articles and success stories related to disposal.

Recently Donated Items

Military monuments are an important aspect of preserving Canada's military heritage. Below is a list of items recently donated by the DND/CAF to various organizations:

  • Art Work from the CAF Artist Program was donated to the Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario HQ, Kanata, ON;
  • Six (6) M548's were donated to the Bovington Tank Museum in the UK;
  • A Bridge, Scout Car and 25 Lb Gun were donated to the Town of Farnham, QC;
  • Two (2) C1 Howitzers were donated to Glacier National Park, BC;
  • The Ojibwa Submarine was donated to Elgin Museum, St. Thomas, ON;
  • A 5 1/4 ton command truck was donated to the Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue, NS;
  • A M113 was donated to RCL 139, Streetsville, ON;
  • A M109 was donated to RCL 18, Wallaceburg, ON;
  • A fire truck to the Village of Wawanesa, MB.
