Current Operations

Canadian Joint Operations Command delivers Canadian Armed Forces continental operations through its six regional joint task forces. The continental area of responsibility covers the entire Western Hemisphere, and includes the air and maritime approaches to North America.

Continental operations span the spectrum of military activity from providing personnel, equipment and services to complex consequence-management missions that could include the commitment of combat-capable forces to the United States to defend Canada and North America, or to support civilian authorities upon request.
