Mentoring Program

The Department of Justice has developed a National Mentoring Program for all employees that aims to foster learning by exchanging knowledge across levels, functions, geographies and generations, create a workplace that is more diverse and inclusive, and to develop the leaders of today and tomorrow by building on their strengths and developing their leadership skills.

Joining a new organization, especially a large one, can be daunting for the best of us. The Mentoring Program is an excellent tool for new employees. Through the mentoring relationship, they learn about the Department’s culture and organizational processes, and will have a great sounding board for any questions they may have.
