Notice – CIC information session for the Haitian community in Laval: Thursday January 28, 2010

January 27, 2010 — Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is participating in an information session for the Haitian community in Laval in order to provide people with information on the special immigration measures and on how they can sponsor members of their immediate family who were directly and seriously affected by the earthquake in Haiti.

The information sessions are open to the public and are targeted to people in Canada who want to apply to sponsor their spouses, common-law and conjugal partners, dependent children (including a child adopted abroad), parents and grandparents and orphaned family members (brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews or grandchildren under 18) from Haiti.
