Notice – Outreach sessions for the Montréal Haitian community

February 15, 2010 — Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is organizing outreach sessions in which members of the Montréal Haitian community can meet individually with CIC officers. The officers will be able to provide information on special immigration measures and on how to sponsor family members who have been directly and seriously affected by the earthquake in Haiti. CIC officers will also be on site at Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport to answer questions from people evacuated from Haiti.

The outreach sessions are open to the public and are aimed at people in Canada who want to apply to sponsor their spouses, common-law and conjugal partners, dependent children (including children adopted abroad), parents and grandparents, and orphaned family members (brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and grandchildren under 18 years) who are in Haiti.

Schedule for individual outreach sessions for the week of February 15-19, 2010:

La Maison d’Haïti
8833 St. Michel Ave.
a.m. to 12 p.m.
